This little number is hot to trot. A very flashy a bold statement chair that oozes personality. The chair is a vintage Victorian refinished in a distressed turquoise frame. The wool saltillo blanket is from the 30's and has retained its beautiful vibrant dyes over all these years. The back of the chair is finished off with a super soft and somewhat shaggy Charolais cowhide that is oh so perfect. I edged the entire chair with oxidized nickel nail head that are individually hammered in one by one. If you would like to see additional pics of the chair or have questions feel free to ask!
All my fabrics are vintage and often antique and show some signs of age. I use the strongest parts of the blankets to ensure they will handle many more years of wear. I also use all vintage and antique furniture frames that are stripped and rebuilt from the ground up. I use premium leather and cowhides as well as hardware made right here in the good ol' US of A. I take a great deal of pride in bringing a piece into a new era while still showcasing all of the craftsmanship that was put into it all those years ago.
