Vintage Red Tooled Leather Train Case for Jewelry or Cosmetics- with key!
A fun and unique tooled train case from Mexico crafted in the fifties. This case is a vibrant red and is in great usable shape. The usual scuffing on the corners and some aging to the mirror but still has many years left. The tooling showcases an arrow on the front panel and an agave and mountains on the top with pattern tooling on all other sides. Handle is fantastic and is up for lots of traveling. There is just one side where the leather has a wrinkle when it was made. locks work and has a key. Perfect for storing jewelry, cosmetics, craft supplies or just displaying some of your prized possessions these antique cases have lots of charm to dress up a space. Measures 12"L by8"W by 6" T. I have never been happier with a purchase on ebay than I am with this case. My seller shipped on the first business day and it arrived on the third day. I waited to open it on the weekend because it is a serious gift-to-self, and I have a ritual, fresh pot of coffee etc., etc. I also love to get a note from the sender. She wrote a sweet note and I was really delighted. This is the best and I'm very happy!
